Wolfman: On March 9 & 10, 1973, the infamous band KISS played at a club in Amityville, New York called The Daisy. This club was owned by Sid Benjamin, who just happens to be my dad!



When did the band Children Of The Night officially begin?

Wolfman: Created by Jeff Black in 1973.

Did you always know from a young age that you wanted to be a (monster - LOL) drummer?

Wolfman: As a kid, I was really interested in baseball.

Which musicians were influential in shaping your career?

Wolfman: Beatles, Beach Boys, Bee Gees & 60's pop.

Which celebrities have you met that caused you to be starstruck?

Wolfman: John Zacherle, Oprah, Lovin' Spoonful, Sly Stone, Donna Summer, Dion, Roy Orbison, Frankie Valli & Felix Cavaliere of The Rascals.

Is it true there was a dispute with John Zacherle in regards to the band's name?

Wolfman: Absolutely not...we were always huge fans of Zacherle and actually visited him at his home in NYC dressed in our costumes.

Which bands or artists do you like to listen to?

Wolfman: Beatles, Stones & Steve Gadd.

Any interesting facts about band members?

Wolfman:
Roy Silverstein performed with Crazy Elephant on the track Gimme Gimme Good Lovin'.
John Gentile's sister, Elda Gentile formed the band The Stillettos with Debbie Harry.
Jeff Black is married to my sister!

What are the band members doing these days?

Wolfman: I'm in a band called FABULONS
